男人天生也是一個購物狂?

男人同女人可能也一樣，天生是個購物狂，男人想買的股票太多，女人想買的衫和袋太多，其實大家天生都是一個購物狂，只是大家的對象不同。
說回投資，我想買的好股票也太多，研習了解愈多，想買的股票也愈多。問題來了，想買的東西無限，但錢有限。最後，我們都要返回一個最基本的問題: 不是要買得多，而是要選擇性地買，因為錢有限，投資我們便要買長遠最有增長和升值潛力的東西。
女人買一件衫之前，很少會問：「我會穿這件衫十年嗎? 」可能對女人來說，穿一年也可能是太多了，下季就不流行了。
可是，男人買股票前，我會問：「我會持有這支股票十年嗎? 」
投資就好比婚姻，如果碰到對的人，他或她未必是最好的，但可能比較適合你，大家共同為著更美好的未來這個目標進發。投資與婚姻也是一樣，投資一家企業，你就會希望它愈做愈好，解決社會最多的需求，為消費者帶來好的消費產品和體驗，企業愈發增長，股東最後也是可以從中獲利的。

不過，在投資領域上，很少人抱有這種心態，更多人希望盡快從股票中抽水賺錢走人，然後再找下一支股票佔它便宜。 如果投資的心態和信念不同，絕對會影響你投資的心情，每天的股價變動都會像根針，隱隱地在刺痛你的屁股，令你坐立不安，買入賣出，投資變成了投機。我們也知道去賭場的，十個有八個也是垂著頭走回出來的，最開心是賭場的老闆。證券經紀忙不得大家多多炒賣，可是股票市場上這樣的人好比沙灘上的沙一樣。
這讓我想起巴菲特說到投資的本質：希望今天投下錢，在未來取回更多的錢。巴菲特在《跳著踢踏舞去上班》說到：「投資是一種現在把錢投出去，並期待將來收獲更多的過程。」對巴菲特來說這個過程不是一天兩天就到的事情，而定可能要一年兩年，甚至十年才會達到的過程。因此，巴菲特也說投資是需要恆心耐性和時間的，他說：「無論才華有多高、付出的努力有多少，有些事還是需要時間的。你不可能讓九個女人懷孕，然後寄望一個月後得到一個孩子。」正如巴菲特的老師葛拉罕也提醒我們：要投資，不要投機。依我說：投機去賭場更好了。
我跟太太說：「我也想買多些股票，可惜我的錢有限呀。」
太太說：「 未來你會有更多的，因為你選擇了正確的對象。」
我說：「 你才是最聰明的。 」
最大的貧窮不是沒有錢，而是沒有上進努力學習的心，和堅持對的事的決心。

I agree to "buy and hold" "relatively" the "best" stocks for long run investment ...
... but history tells us that "best" enterprises can go worse, e.g. 005.HK; 008.HK; 330.HK; 494.HK; etc. ...
... so, my opinion is to add "stocks switching" in my long run investment portfolio "when necessary" ... though in no doubt it will depends on individual investor's "knowledge and judgement" ... while I think "knowledge and judgement" are essentials to success.
Student learns from the market.

how about if someone hold 0003 0823 0002 1299 0011 0700 2388 02313 0669 0052 0066 etc till now...

Yes, I agree with "if good things are more than bad things" in an investment portfolio, the investor will ultimately be a wealthy man. But I can't imagine an individual investment beginner (or even a sophisticated investor) can buy a certain "best" stocks "right at the beginning".
Since few years ago I began my investment portfolio of certain stocks and hope to "hold" them in the long run, receiving dividends and making re-investment.
But as time goes by, knowledge (,experience and judgement as well) will be built up ... and some "relatively better" stocks/industries may be entered into the market and awared by me ... so I find that I have to consider to do "stocks switching" in order to modify the portfolio, not at short term thinkings.
My portfolio is always fully loaded, with idle cash 1~2% only. I just want to make long run investment, receiving dividends and re-investing ... but with "stocks switching" when necessary.
